On the morning of 22nd September, the second day of the Teguise Two Trails started and finished at Sands Beach.
The first day of the Teguise Two Tails started on the 21st September which started from Teguise and concluded on the small island of La Graciosa. The 22nd however was the day for Costa Teguise to host the event. About 50 participants enjoyed the day of sport with the circuit beginning at Sands Beach Resort and reaching Guatiza before returning back To Sands Beach to cross the finishing line.
The participants crossed the start line at 9:30am with the expectation that the faster runners would take just over an hour and a half to complete the course. In the men’s category the 3 participants to win the podium were Yerai Duran in first place ahead of David Reyes and deAlberto Pelaez, who finished in third place.
In the female category the three fastest women were Xari Adrian Castro followed by Monica Aguilera, leaving third for Ana Bustamante.
In addition to the main race, at two in the afternoon there was time for the little ones to prove that they are the future of the sport, as they competed in a run at Sands Beach Resort.
